2. Provision of the website
When you access this website, the hosting service provider we use processes technically necessary connection data. This may include your IP address, the date and time of access, the requested page or file, the referrer URL, browser type, operating system, amount of data transferred and HTTP status.
The processing is necessary to deliver the website, maintain its stability and security and identify technical faults or abusive access. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and reliable operation of this website.
The recipient of this data is the hosting service provider we use for technical operation. Log data is stored only for as long as necessary to maintain secure operation and investigate specific security incidents. It is stored for longer only where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
3. Contacting us
If you contact us using the contact form or by email, we process the information you provide. For the contact form, this includes your name, email address, selected topic and message; the time and IP address of the submission are also processed for technical purposes. We use this information solely to handle and respond to your enquiry.
Where your enquiry relates to entering into or performing a contract, the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Other enquiries are processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to communicate appropriately and handle enquiries.
The information is transmitted through the hosting and email infrastructure we use. We delete it once the enquiry has been fully dealt with, unless statutory retention requirements or legitimate reasons require further storage.
4. Cookies and local storage
This website currently uses no analytics, marketing or other cookies that require consent. It does not integrate external tracking services or advertising networks. Fonts and scripts are served from our own server.
After you close the cookie and privacy notice by selecting “Sounds good”, we store your confirmation locally in your browser under the key ionadsPrivacyNotice. It contains only the time of your confirmation and its expiry date. The information is stored for six months and prevents the same notice from appearing on every page.
If you change the website appearance from “System” to “Dark” or “Light”, we store that choice locally in your browser under the key ionadsTheme. This keeps the chosen appearance for subsequent page views. When “System” is selected, the website follows your operating system's colour preference.
Both settings remain on your device. They are not transmitted to ION.ADS or any third party and are not used to create a profile. You can delete them at any time by clearing this website's data in your browser.
The legal basis for this local storage is Section 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG. The storage is necessary to provide the notice and display settings you selected.
5. Linked services
The website contains links to external services, such as lyr.me. A connection to the respective provider is established only when you follow such a link. The privacy notice of the respective service applies to any processing of personal data there.
6. Recipients
We disclose personal data only where this is necessary to operate the website, handle an enquiry or comply with a legal obligation. Recipients may include the hosting and email service providers used for these purposes.
7. Retention periods
Where no specific retention period is stated in this policy, we retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the relevant purpose. We then delete it unless statutory retention requirements or legitimate reasons require further storage.

Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and data portability. You may also object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

9. Changes to this privacy policy
We update this privacy policy when the technology we use, our processing activities or the legal requirements change.
